Propane is produced as a by-product of two other processes: natural gas processing and petroleum refining.
Industrial Use
- Propane is used to calibrate environmental emission monitoring, industrial hygiene monitors and trace impurity analyzers, particularly for total hydrocabons measurements (THC). Propane could be used also as a fuel in atomic absorption analyzers (AAS).
